Our first week back to school after the holiday break was a busy one full of new centers, snow excitement, and even learning to ride a bike in P.E.!!

| One center had the girls tallying all the sight words they could find in a picture book. Some books had more than 30! |

| In our handwriting center, the girls learned the motor plan and sound of the letter "c". They also learned how to write consonant-vowel-consonant words lit, dot, cat, and lid. |

| L and M use pattern blocks to fill in an empty shape. The trick was to figure out three different ways to complete the same shape. |

In our final center the girls mixed flesh colored paints to create their own skin colors.
We will be using these for a self-portrait later in the year. |
Wagons, scooters and bikes, OH MY!
The girls did a wonderful job trying out the scooters and bikes this week. Some girls even took a ride without training wheels for the first time!
Unfortunately, we only have 4 bikes, although the girls have been great about taking turns. If anyone has bike(s) that they are not using and want to donate, please let Ms. McDonald know!
